Taina & Eric, 11/12/2023

This vibrant wedding celebration embodied the spirit of New Orleans with a casual, lively atmosphere that resembled a house party. The ceremony took place on the stage in the courtyard, with tropical florals by Thibodeaux’s Floral Studio adorning the space. A diverse crowd of 145 guests filled the rows in the courtyard and stood along the balcony to witness the union of Taina and Eric.

Following the ceremony, a spirited second line parade led by the Kinfolk Brass Band set the tone for the evening as guests marched through the streets, eventually returning to a transformed courtyard for the reception.

The reception featured a buffet by Black Pearl Catering, including an oyster bar and a variety of colorful favorites. The couple utilized Margaret Place’s technical infrastructure to project images and lights, enhancing the lively atmosphere. As music played and conversations flowed, the couple’s vision of a vibrant celebration came to life. This wedding highlighted their partnership and the communal spirit of New Orleans, creating a memorable night defined by connection and celebration.
