My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at Margaret Place Hotel and it was absolutely perfect! The venue is beautiful, and the courtyard is perfect for any bride who wants an outdoor wedding with the ability to also use indoor spaces like the parlor and dining room. The courtyard makes you feel like you’re not in the center of New Orleans, but instead somewhere private and romantic. The bridal suite they have upstairs was perfect for getting ready the day of, and it was so nice to not have to travel after the reception and just stay in the bridal suite that night. There are also four other rooms upstairs for close family or friends to stay at as well if they choose to, but Margaret Place won’t book anyone in those rooms the night of your wedding unless you approve them which was very thoughtful and avoided random guests booking the hotel the weekend of our wedding. They worked with us on everything and allowed us to make our day exactly what we wanted. I’ve never seen a venue or boutique hotel with all the details that Margaret Place has, everything from a scribit that draws your wedding logo on the entrance wall to the massage chair in the bridal suite. They were incredibly flexible with how we wanted things, and allowed us to bring all our decorations the day before during the rehearsal which was incredibly helpful. It’s also very close to the French Quarter for any guests who want to go out after the reception is over! All of our guests were stunned by the venue and had nothing but fantastic things to say. They worked with us throughout all the changes that were caused by the covid restrictions and were incredibly adaptable. We’re so glad we chose Margaret Place and can’t wait to celebrate future anniversaries by staying in one of their boutique rooms.
