Lily & Jake, 2/3/2024

This February wedding showcased simple elegance with the historic architecture of Margaret Place as a stunning backdrop. The ceremony took place in the courtyard, with the couple exchanging vows on the stage beneath a gazebo adorned with understated white flowers.

Following the ceremony, a second line parade led by Crescent City Soul energized the crowd, infusing the event with the city’s vibrant spirit. Guests joyfully danced their way through the streets before returning to the courtyard for a sit-down dinner catered by Elysian Catering, featuring thoughtfully prepared dishes that enhanced the evening’s sophistication. Cubs the Poet added a personal touch writing poetry for guests in the gazebo. The night concluded with dancing and merriment in the courtyard, where laughter and joy filled the air.

The couple expressed their deep connection to New Orleans, noting its significant role in their relationship and the joy it brings them. This wedding was a heartfelt tribute to their love story and the city that began it all.
